This is my 18th year with
TEAM as the 1st/2nd grade multi-age classroom teacher and my
22nd year of teaching. My first teaching assignment began
in the Bremerton School District in 1971 where as a Special
Education teacher I partner taught in a classroom
with regular and special education students. I stayed home
for fourteen years to start raising a family. My
involvement with the TEAM Program began first as a parent
volunteer and then as a staff member when I was hired
in 1989 after completing three years on the Board of
Directors for Washington State PTA. My husband and I have
four grown children. The youngest is a TEAM graduate. I
enjoy photography, traveling, and spending time with our
family and two young grandchildren.

I am so honored to be a part of the TEAM
program. My teaching career began in 1979 in
Stevenson, Washington. I have taught K-4th in both the
Bremerton and Central Kitsap School Districts, as well at
college and adult education at the University of Northern
Colorado. I have been with the TEAM program since
2001. Currently I teaching the 2nd and 3rd grade
students in Room 16. I am also the mother of 2
daughters, both who are/were students in the TEAM program.
I am an avid knitter, and love
to share my skills and knowledge with my students.
